Are you MoneySmart?

The Australian Government has today launched a new webiste called MoneySmart as part of its financial literacy campaign.

It is a free, unbiased service aiming to provide a useful information resource and helpful hints on a variety of financial transactions which people will encounter during their lifetime. There are also 26 financial calculators as well as budget tools which can assist you in both making more informed financial decisions and being more in control of your financial well-being.

This does not substitute professional advice however knowing what questions to ask and being more informed can only be a good thing.
